"The lights go out tonight"

It appears that a hyped-up lead on the Earth Hour story caused one elderly Toronto woman to rush out for candles. She explained she did not want to be left in the dark when the plug was pulled. She said she heard "the lights go out tonight" on the radio. (TPG)
