Those scary big billboards are making money for Astral. Revenue and profit were both on the rise as the Montreal-based media goliath reported its results for the first quarter of its fiscal year. The company took in $267.1 million in revenue, an increase of seven per cent from the same period a year ago. That resulted in a profit of $53.3 million, or 94 cents per share.
