If Harper wants to be heard, he goes to YouTube or Twitter, not the press

The NatPost's Kelly McParland writes about Harper's total disregard for the press. Excerpt: "The Prime Minister plainly thinks Ottawa’s traditional news voices can be ignored. It doesn’t matter if they denounce him on a regular basis. It doesn’t matter what the polls say. Canadians either don’t pay attention, or can be made to forget with an upbeat election campaign as voting day approaches. If Mr. Harper wants to be heard, he’ll film an infomercial or a YouTube video, or the party will release another attack ad, which the media will be obliged to cover. Interest in politics is so low in any case that hardly anyone will notice. "Maybe he’s right. All indications are that he has no intention of changing." The whole column
